Worship Freely Tunes {25}

So it's been a while since I've shared a new song with y'all and this is totally worth it. My friends and I can not get this song out of our heads! We're just all going to Bethel one day and road-trippin it. Hear it, soak it in, and let the Spirit sing over you. It's the bomb y'all, for real!

///Looking For People Going to The Bethel School of Worship in 2014///

Hey yall! So as most of you know God has placed in my heart to attend BSW next summer!!! Yay!!! I'm so oober excited! God has been providing me with connections (Gotta love my Daddy for opening the right doors). The reason why I wrote this post was to hopefully find some people out there with the same vision and plan and just get connected. I'm from McAllen Texas so I was hoping to find others leaving from Texas to Redding so that we could meet up and maybe travel together. So...if that's you and you just happened to stumble upon my blog and you plan on attending BSW in 2014 then leave a comment or just e-mail me with the deats. on the contact me tab. I'd love to hear from you and definitely to get to know you and what God wants to equip you for. This journey is going to require so much work on my part but I know God is able and in control. Do I have the funds? Not all of them. Am I a little worried? No. I am expectant though. I know that His plan requires His hand so all things will come together. I just know it. How can you help? Pray for me and this journey. Your heartfelt prayers mean the world to me guys, keep em' coming.

Top 10 Favorite Quotes From "When Heaven Invades Earth"

I finished the book! The quotes that I want to share have provoked me, stirred me up, and have also served as confirmation for me in this season. I really LOVED reading this book, in fact, my highlighter agrees. Neon pink, green, and yellow cover up almost every sentence of every page. I definitely recommend this read especially for those of you who have a hunger for more of God and who have a passion for seeing His kingdom displayed all over the earth.

*~*~*

Bill Johnson's "When Heaven Invades Earth"
  1. "Resistance to change is a resistance to the nature of God. Because the winds of change are blowing, it will be easy to distinguish between those who are satisfied and those who are hungry. Change brings to light the secrets of the heart."
  2. "We lack understanding of who we are because we have little revelation of who He is."
  3. "Being involved in the supernatural through spiritual gifts is what makes the invasion effective. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of power! We must be in pursuit of a fuller demonstration of the Spirit of God."
  4. "Daniel discovered early on the power of holiness. He was unwilling to eat the king's delicacies. Separation to God is demonstrated in personal lifestyle, not associations. He could not control his surroundings...Many Christians prefer to work in a Christian business, attend Christian meetings, and isolate themselves from the very people we are left on the planet to touch in His name."
  5. "The Bible is not a book of lists that confine or corral God. The Word does not contain Godit reveals Him."
  6. "I was not left on planet earth to be in hiding waiting for Jesus' return. I am here on a military representative of heaven."
  7. "Intimacy with God is our strong suit. Never allow anything to distract you from this point of strength."
  8. "If the Father filled the Old Testament houses with His glory, though they were built by human hands, how much more will He fill the place that He builds with His own hands! He is building us into His eternal dwelling place."
  9. "My hunger for His power is only surpassed by my desire for Him. It's been my pursuit of Him that has led me to this passion for an authentic gospel. Something happened in me that won't let me accept a gospel that isn't backed with signs and wonders."
  10. "A glass is only full when it overflows. Fullness can only be measured by overflow."

Worship Freely Tunes {12}

It's a two for one! When I saw both of these videos instantly I was like, this is too too good not share all at once. So...I'm sharing! This first video is a little snippet of the first night of Bethel's Spring Tour in Miami. Since my last post covered Spontaneous Worship this clip is a perfect example. Amazingly anointed! I love both of these videos because it's just about forgetting about the lyrics and bursting forth with a song from the spirit. Check it out, soak, and enjoy!

Dreams {I Lay Them At Your Feet}

I've received God's word for me this year and suddenly all these dreams have been born in me. Desires that I am surrendering to God and praying for. One of my dreams, that I just can't shake off because I have been asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to me the desires of my Father's heart for me, is attending the "Bethel School of Worship". It's like I shake that dream loose and then, like a boomerang, it just keeps flying back to me through other blogs, articles, songs, and random sorts of events. The truth is, we can't run from what God has called us to do and in this case, trust, I would love nothing more than to jump on a plane and fly off to Redding, California. But... the Lord's timing is perfect. In the mean time my preparation continues. My Spring Semester starts on Monday and Psalmist School two weeks after. I'm soaking up everything I can and making the most of every teaching that The Holy Spirit is providing me with. It's amazing though, how God keeps confirming my dream. Yesterday, a woman from the financial-aide office called me in the morning to tell me that after checking my fafsa she thought their might be some errors that I could fix so that I could be given a Pell Grant in addition to the grants that I already have. You see, ever since I started attending the University I never had to pay anything out of pocket, my God has opened every door and has overflowed His blessings on me by leaving me with ridiculously surprising amounts of refunds. I call it our love relationship: I give Him the glory and He makes a way for me. Well...being notified of this blessing of course my heart became too full of thanks to handle because, "there we go" I thought, more confirmation. I was saying a few days back about attending BSW, "God, this is expensive for me and I don't have this kind of cash lying around." Bam! He answered me. It's like He's always telling me, "Deya, what more do you need? What more can I do for you?" And I'm like, "No, no, God...What can I do for You?" I'm going to continue to save up and set an amount of money aside for whatever the Lord has in mind for me. God has an amazing way of doing things a gagillion times infinity times better than me, but since I'm a planner at heart (it comes from Him, I know it) I'll share my plans.
  • I plan to continue faithfully leading worship at church when University life is not all too hectic.
  • I plan to enter my rehab program and rock that to bring glory to my God.
  • I plan to Graduate from Levi School of Psalmists (Levi Escuela de Salmistas), completing my six semesters in December 2013!!!
  • And...I plan to apply and God willing attend Bethel Scchool of Worship in the Summer of 2014.
Even to me, as I re-read these little bullets I think, "Dang, that's so far away!" But, I truly know that God will guide me and keep preparing me. If He told me to begin reading the bible from beginning to end in the beginning of 2012 and it is now 2013 then time will continue to go by in the blink of an eye. God's timing has always been perfect and I see now how he's worked everything out. Getting into the word of God sparked by hunger, the 21 day fast led to breaking unhealthy chains and getting healthy by seeing a naturopathic doctor, I mean God holds everything in His hand. I even think, how could I have hike me some mountains in California if God wouldn't have pushed me to change and to start getting healthy. ALL things work together for our good. I'm going to enjoy the now so that even when the later comes my past and present will have warm greetings when embracing my future. So...let God's amazing plans begin. My prayers start now. Anyone who wants to pray for this with me, please feel more than welcome because it is so deeply appreciated.

Worship Freely Tunes {8}

Happy Friday! I bring to you one of my favorite songs ever, featuring one of my favorite worship leaders ever!!!! Get ready to enter the gates of heaven because you will just want to close your eyes and go to that secret place with God. Originally Bryan & Katie Torwalt sing this song on their album but...I just can't get enough of those live worship moments. I love Spontaneous Worship and because I move in this area I just had to share. Enjoy!

Dear God, Where are you taking Worship?

*~*~*~*~*

It is almost the New Year and I know God is taking us higher and higher, wider and wider, deeper and deeper. How high can we go God, how wide, and how deep? Lead the way Holy Spirit.

I have two blogs that I keep up with, "Worship Blossoms In The Garden" and "The Psalmist Journal." The first blog that I ever made was "The Psalmist Journal" and there I talk on a more personal level sharing the lifestyle of a Worshiper living my day to day. But here in my second blog I talk specifically about Worship and it's intricate branches in the secret as well as in the public. Here I write about how true worship begins blossoming in our hearts during our intimate time with the Lord and how that transforms our public worship into a living and breathing testimony of the living God. Though I hardly talk on a personal level here I feel to do so when it comes to Congregational Worship so that the presence of God can begin to flow in our churches. This is so important. Because what we do in our secret time with God affects the spiritual atmosphere when we join in fellowship both private and public go hand in hand: You cannot have one or the other, both need to be further developed so that we can give fruit.
Our fruit from our private time is our actions and reactions to our day to day lives, while our fruit from our public time like in church for example would be how we conduce ourselves there. We all need instruction when it comes to both, but like the Holy Spirit has taught me everything first begins with our private and intimate time as our wellspring. Because I've focused first on our quiet time with God now my Spirit knows that it's time to talk about our public form of Worship when as a body we come together and offer our lives as a pleasing sacrifice to God. I know for a fact, because I thought this way also, that when somebody thinks of a Worship blog they picture music and fellowship but now that we've learned the true Worship that God is seeking we can climb and begin to nestle in between these branches. And to kick start our new adventure I really want to share with you all a blog that I truly did stumble upon..."I Will Worship My King". If you are like me over here and have been called to be a Psalmist, Worship Minister, leader, or anything that falls in a praise and worship label then you will love Mrs. Jennie Lee's blog! I personally read from oldest posts to latest because she details her experiences at the "Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry" and after. I know that many churches do not move in the full power of the Spirit of God but where better to start than within our own hearts? Before we can impact others we must first let God impact us with the totality of who He is. I'm so excited for what God is doing and I am in a complete mode of expectancy. If anyone has any questions about anything be sure to let me know but very soon I will be going into deeper detail of my experiences from past to present, from where I started to where God has placed me now. God is more than good!
