Back to School: Worship, Clothes, Life

Tuesday was my first day back at the University and even through some craziness (which I will speak of next time) I had an awesome day filled with the joy of the Lord. Truly God has just been showing me how to continually have joy in the midst of hard times or even the things I don't understand. When we trust God and delight in Him a mind-boggling peace and joy floods our souls. I had been pretty busy going school supply and clothes shopping with my younger sister Angie, taking care of my puppy Cody, and just doing life.

Last week my boyfriend and I got to meet up with one of our old friends Edwin who we hadn't seen in two years. We met while we were helping out a local church in our area put their worship band together and we were there leading worship for a couple months. We got in contact through facebook and took a pizza over to his house and had an amazing time in fellowship and listening and talking about Bethel music and maybe even going up to their Supernatural School of Worship in Redding, California together sometime in the near future. As most of you know that has been my dream for so long and I'm still believing God for it. I really wanted to go this summer but the Lord just pressed upon me that I had His vision but He had the timing so I let go and I've just been focused on falling more in love with God and really a lot of character building. So back to our friend Edwin...the three of us had such a blast that we decided to get together the next day at my mom's salon. Because we recently moved all of our instruments from the garage to one of the rooms there, we got together and just worshiped God. On the spot we played Our Father by Bethel without any previous practice and we just flowed into God's beautiful presence and spontaneously sang new songs. It was awesome and brought back so many good memories. After that, Edwin invited us to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings and I ate a Caesar salad while the boys went all out on their chili cheese dogs with fries. We just kept talking about how God was working in each of our lives and began to minister to one another. Truly blessed to have such good friends.

On another note...I started school this semester with a whole new wardrobe that I'm so excited about. I've never been a big flashy designer type of girl but I do like dressing nice in a way that reflects God and my personal character. I've grown so much these couple of years and right now my closet is a holder of jean jackets, skirts of both long and medium length, maxi dresses of various colors, flats, sneakers, sandals...etc. This semester holds a lot of fun surprises that I am beyond eager to share with you all. This weekend I'll be more detailed, I promise. For now I'm just going to start getting ready to head of to school and ending this post with a big God bless you!

College Life, Dreams, & Such Things

So far school has been interesting. Good. Great. Pretty awesome. The evening classes are new for me and I am so not used to that but throwing something different into something usual can turn out great. I don't want to turn into a what if person so every now and then why not pray through a season and then try something new, challenging, unknown? The great unknown. If I could describe my college career from the very beginning I would have to say that it's felt like an adventure. I've ventured into the great unknown with my lamp and oil following The Lord's guidance, discerning His voice, and recognizing the right open doors. Many doors will be presented but we have to know which one's are right for us and the only way to know is to be in communion with the Father. I can't say it enough. Doing life with God and God doing life with us is beautiful and what Jesus gave His life for. Before my Abnormal Psychology class started this morning I arrived early, sat in the auditorium, and continued to read through the Book of Matthew. I wanted to just jump out of my swivel chair when I read that my Lord was betrayed and sold for 30 pieces of silver. That number will forever be etched in my heart, mind, and soul. I just had a moment. I was in a lecture hall and had an intimately public moment with my Lord. This is totally off subject but I just have to throw it out there...His life He gave to pay for our ransom and though the price tag placed on Him was insulting He never put a price tag on our lives. Yup I had a moment.

Anyway, now that I've managed to throw so many details (which I really do love and I'm sure there's a point to them) out there I do want to share some pictures that have been becoming more and more clear. After graduation, when The Lord spoke to me about trading up my intended architecture career for the career He had in store for me, a new journey in my life began. Before then I was saved and in love with Jesus, spending all my time in church and stuff but I felt an abrupt turn of the wheel in my spiritual vehicle. I felt The Lord saying that that season of my life was good and necessary but it was a stepping block for what was to come. I felt Him strongly say that now in the next season's He was going to show His love for me differently because spiritual maturity was going to have to come. Every season after in some way was going to be about me learning to trust Him more, and more, and more, and even more. In the moment I was like, "Ok Lord, awesome!" Now that I look back...boy I totally understand what He was saying. The picture has become clearer and clearer. So I let go of my dreams, which were only based on my talent and experience. You'd think that it would be hard to walk into something blind, as many would say, but it wasn't. Have you ever heard the expression, love is blind? I was so in love with Jesus that it was easy to let to. His love is blind to the eyes but clear to the spirit. A few years back I wouldn't have listened, I would have rebelled but God won my heart over in His perfect timing. So The Lord caught my attention during a career day when I went in to listen to an Occupation Therapist speak. I was like, "Lord, no! What are you doing? You know I'm bad at science...how could I ever do anything medical? That was one of the first times I felt God smile and laugh at me. Clearly in my heart I heard Him say, "Do you trust me?" I gave Him one of my usual nods and kept listening to the speaker and after ran and told my counselor and teachers that I was switching careers. I went to a small academy so everybody knew everybody basically. They were all shocked, knowing all the previous plans I had made. I had already won scholarships. The trust seasons began. It's been a journey. The Lord has been leading me almost like through a trail of breadcrumbs. He caught my attention and then I walk through the next door, giving Him all the glory now in everything accomplished. He first caught my attention with OT which then lead me to major in Rehabilitation (super broad field) with a concentration in addictions and a minor in Spanish. The Holy Spirit and I have diligently worked and toiled, and now the next door has opened. The next breadcrumb has been set before me.

{Journal Entry Excerpt: September 21, 2013} Raw, messy, and all my heart and I.

"...A professor/super cool director came to do random pop-ins in the rehab classes to talk about a Master's program in Texas Tech University (Lubbock Texas y'all) called Marriage & Family Therapy. As she was explaining...The more words she said the more "that feeling" rose and traveled from my spirit to my heart. The same feeling that I got junior/senior year during the career day thinga-ma-bob. The Holy Spirit saying this is the next door go, go, go! God told me from the very start not to worry, that all I had to do was work up until the next door that opened and so on. He was right. He always is. Trusting Him with my (using "my" so lightly) career has been easy because I've seen the fruit day, month, and year after year. I wasn't sure to go for my Master's or not deep down but this woman literally said, "Don't you even think about not going to graduate school just because you don't have the funds, we will do everything we can to help you." She talked about the great need they had for Hispanic counselors: bilingual and bicultural. I felt peace in my heart, knowing this is it, sitting there, looking up and thinking: I hear you God. It's like I've been walking and wondering what would come after (would I get my master's in Rehab even though it doesn't feel right, like this isn't it) and God answered. I feel so good right now. Though I respect the Rehab Master's program and its amazing labor with DARS, something inside me knew that that wasn't my fit. I love seeing God restore lives and the fact that He would lead me into a career like that makes me feel honored and loved and yeah, special. I know I wanted to work with the youth and families through counseling and intervention. I know God put that desire in me from the start for a reason."

I'm a junior. I graduate in 2015. The next door came early in my timing but just right right for God. He knows what He's doing. I have about two more years before this decision takes place. The moving 632 miles from home thing is crazy for me for many reasons but I trust God with my now and my future. I guess if you get anything out of this post know that falling in love with God makes you realize that the waiting periods of your life aren't meant to be suffered, but to be dearly loved. Work on trusting the Lord, it's a process and one day you'll look back and understand. Enjoy your day guys! I'm off to class! Another pebble in the stepping stones of life.

Fall Semester

It's official. I'm a junior. Today was my first day back at UTPA and I'm honestly psyched to be back. The fall has to be my favorite semester because of the rain, the breezy days, and cloudy skies. If you were from the valley you'd be excited too, it's usually so hot over here y'all. I love my schedule: after going to my abnormal psychology class at 10:35 I don't have to go back to campus until 5 ish. This is the first time I take night courses so I should be coming home around 9. That's new, exiting, and kinda outside my comfort zone but...comfort zones are so overrated (I'm sure God would agree). So I went shopping a few days before and did that whole shabang and got some cute stuff, but my over all greatest achievement would have to be finishing The Old Testament in The Bible. Sunday night I was like, yes my Jesus I finally get to really read about you and I can finally know what's going on (lol). The details bring the big picture to life, you know? So this post is pretty laid back that's how I feel right now. Just wanted to share. Hope yalls first day was awesome!! God bless!

///All Things Work Together For My Good {1}///

Packed my lunch and ate before class on Thursday.

My Intro. to Addictions class project this semester is to journal on an unhealthy behavior that I want to change. Instantly I thought of Romans 8:28 and smiled. God always knows what He's doing. Push. He pushes me to go further. My challenge is to start and maintain a healthy regular exercise routine. I've had my ups and my downs but my main problem isn't that I don't like exercising because I love it so much, my problem is time management. God is really helping me with this because with school, ministry, and a whole bunch of other stuff adding more to my list of to-do's is crazy. That's how God gets the glory in my life though..He leads me through things that I could only do with Him by my side. It continues to be an awesome journey and so far I am oober over excited to report that I have lost over 20 lbs! I'll share my exact number after my next appointment. Some yummy healthy recipes too. I challenge you to get healthy. Make the change with God's help, strength, and guidance. What pushed me was God tugging at my heart strings and saying that He didn't want me to do this because He loved me less as I was, but rather because this weight was keeping me from being 100% free before Him. I want to jump as I praise God and feel free!!! That's my fitspiration right there. I challenge you too...take care of your temple because God gave it to you. Blessings!

I love running at night right before I go to bed.
My playlist is a plus.

Love Trails

I love, love, love, love, love...love my God. My sweet Daddy always knows what's best for me. This girl right here typing away wanted to be an architect and was ready to head off to Austin TX to make that plan happen, but (God loves this word) the Lord had something higher in mind than I could have ever imagined. He left me trails of love to follow. Because you see, when your so out of your mind passionately in love with God your eyes are so unshakably fixed on His eyes that through that intimate relationship you come to know the desires of His heart and what He loves. Those desires become your desires because Jesus no longer has to pursue you now, that hunger is born and that desire causes us to pursue Him and press through anything and everything to get to Him. I was (an still am) so love sick that just like Elisha I burned up all my desires that I had clung so tightly to and simply followed my love with a love that is so powerful that one doesn't have to be blinded to follow. You see, I followed Jesus with eyes wide open knowing that my reality was crazy but His reality for me was perfectly planned. And that's been my journey up till today. I've been following those love trails especially through my whole college career. Things haven't always been so clear as to what I should do next but what was clear was that every time I had to take a step the Holy Spirit met me right there, reached for my arm, and guided me on forward to my next task. So now here I am almost two years later in the second semester of my second year of college seeing the fruit of my trust. I love what God has placed in my hands. Because I love Him, I love what He loves, and because I love what He loves, I just simply love. Rehabilitation with a Concentration in Addiction Studies. If words could express the passion and joy that I feel as I drive to school to just soak up the lectures my words would run short. I love it with all my heart. Now I see. Now I understand.

Trust God. Follow His love trail. Cling to Him. Give Him the glory. You will discover. You will fall in love with God's plans. Because you love Him. You will be victorious. His plans are higher. Trust. Follow the love trail.

(Romans 8:28)

\\\\The Spirit Knows Best: Breathing Once Again////

*~*~*~*~*

Exhaustion...a product of over working one's self to the point of running out of energy. To find joy in these moments, however, is not that hard for this girl. Yes, the girl there to the side really wishes there were hot chocolate in her mug but no, no, she can't have that, so instead...water. Water. Anyways, what I really wanted to get to is a little of what's been going on. I know I've been posting a lot of updates lately but there's a lot going on in this girls life. I mean, finals in themselves have been mind boggling and crazy. Never in my college career have I had a harder semester. Has it been worth it though? Yes. I know the Lord has me right where He wants me. Though it may be hectic attending Pan Am and Psalmist school I enjoy the moments of triumph and learn from the times of perseverance. The best part of doing life with God is knowing that your part is the natural and His is the supernatural. I study and He keeps me awake. I get psycho-stressed and He makes me laugh or moves someone to call me up and shake me back into all things sane. The Lord is...my everything. Honestly, if God does call you to do something He will get you through it victoriously. Never settle for anything less than that. We may stumble, but the word says we can no longer fall because the Lord's hand will sustain us. My last final was supposedly today but when I showed up and walked into a dark auditorium I began to question myself. I called up my Music Appreciation Prof. (because he's cool like that) and asked what was going on. And so there I figured out that there was no final because he counted our last exam as such. You can imagine how I felt right? Ecstatic! And once that wore off and reality set in, I wanted to just fall to the floor and cry. It was relief with a hint of frustration. God bless the Lord's heart for allowing me to live only fifteen minutes away from my University, seriously I was in need of some bed time. For some reason as tired as I may be there is always one thing that I'm not too tired for: writing. Imagine that? How can something that takes so much thought be relaxing?

There. Exactly right there is the connection that I was trying to make.

Times are tough. Some days brighter than others. And no, no I'm not going to say, "but the Lord is there with you," though it is true. What I will say is this: It is possible to love what is unlovable, enjoy the unenjoyable, and find peace in the midst of chaos. Our mind says go, go, go because when stress kicks in our brain is programmed to run without looking back. Right then and there is exactly when we should stop. Right when your mind says, "but look at the time," you should be hitting the floor on your knees and seeking the Lord's peace and strength. Your spirit knows better than your flesh, though your flesh thinks it knows it all. Spiritually we break chains when we let Jesus be the anchor that stops us from drifting farther and farther out to sea. Listen to your spirit and the Lord will glorify Himself, I am living proof of that for sure.

Autumn Cravings And Things

I am officially out of school!...for Thanksgiving break anyway. Exhausted, tired, but still alive and breathing. University life can be stressful at times, especially when exam season and finals come along, but I love it. As corny as it may sound, yesterday in my quiet time with the Lord I began to thank Him for the opportunity that I have to even attend school. Many don't get to further their education. I have been given a beautiful, price-less gift. Of course I've had to work hard to get to where I am, but God opened the doors so that I could walk through victoriously. Often it feels like I'm walking a million miles but the fact that I know that there will be an open door waiting for me when I reach my destination is more than enough to make me wanna keep on movin' forward. This is one of the many things that I'm thankful for. Today I finished up my exam and rushed through traffic to get home. Oh home sweet home. I feel so lazy. I just jumped into bed and started blogging away. Literally here I am in my old high school T-shirt and PJ's. And that's how you know that it's vacation time for me.

Lately, more like forever ago, I've been craving some good soul food: definition being God time, new revelation, encounters, and worship. This kind of hunger can only be quenched by some nice one on one time with my sweet Jesus. There's a scripture that I've been reading for a while now that's really struck a chord in me...definitely one of my favorite Psalms. It's times like these that make me want to lock my door and throw away the key so I can just be, you know? But one thing I do know and that is that my social/public life will be impacted by my intimate/private life. In the quiet we are shaped and in the midst of encounters with our Beloved we are transformed. Many areas of my life have been tottering on the brink of extinction but I like what God has been replacing these areas with. We can either hate change or embrace it with arms and eyes wide open. On Monday, my homework assignment for the Psalmist School I attend was to make song, in Spanish, out of a Psalm and ultimately my heart was won over by the same portion of verses that I just finished telling y'all about. So from David's heart, to my heart, and finally to yours I share with you my

 Psalm of inspiration:

*~*~*
(Psalm 63:1-8)
O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts
for you; my whole body longs for you in
this parched and weary land where there
is no water. I have seen you in your
sanctuary and gazed upon your power
and glory. Your unfailing love is better than
life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you
as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you
in prayer. You satisfy me more than the
richest feast. I will praise you with songs of
joy. I lie awake thinking of you, meditating
on you through the night. Because you
are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow
of your wings. I cling to you; your strong
right hand holds me securely.

As Of Lately...

Mmmmmm... What to talk about? There are so many little, middle, and big things that I want to share with yall today. First off, Hello dear readers I have missed you all! Busyness has taken a toll on me these past few days, causing me to stem away from my blog but as always I do return.

As of lately, I began my second semester of college at UTPA and so far God has graced me with awesome classes and professors. I can't complain, God is so good to me. For those of you who have read my first posts, I am no longer in my favorite little corner because the table has been moved but I have relocated farther left, still in the same building. I have to say that so far my favorite class is MCLL which is Mexican American Literature. My professor is so fun and quirky and definitely full of wisdom. It's great to learn about where my family is from and how we migrated to where we are now. So cool!

*~*~*

On another positive note, I have also decided to hit hard my goal of living a healthy lifestyle. I bought myself a bike and my mom signed me up at the local gym. Fasting is also going good and makes me all the more motivated to do this for the glory of God. Depending on His strength makes this possible. I'll keep y'all posted and I'll definitely share some yummy healthy recipes later on.

Bold And Unashamed!

Hello to all, as promised I am back from exams and with very good news, as also promised. The Lord is faithful! My Psychology Exam went really good and I was completely overjoyed when my American Heritage Professor passed out the Frederick Douglas Essay I had submitted last week. The book, first of all was touching and heart-wrenching. The unfaltering faith of this slave made my heart grow more and more at the turn of every page. The point of the assignment was to "Explain how Frederick Douglas viewed his life" and my main argument was that he viewed his life not through the size and outlook of his slave-holders and society, but through the Eyes of God. He no longer saw himself as a captive but as a free man because to God he was a free and much loved son. I don't know if I caused my professor or student teacher to reflect on a few things but I know the grace of God was with me because I received a 150/150 = 100! The Lord, once again came through for me.
Love you God!

Here's a little excerpt from my essay:
All of his new found knowledge comes from reading and in a sense causes Douglas to experience freedom of the mind, because although the earth labels him as a captive, his thought and his faith provide an open door into liberty. Douglas no longer settles for the life of slavery he has always known because now he understands the word of God that his masters manipulate to excuse the horrific punishments that they inflict upon their slaves. Douglass distinguishes and draws the line between religion and true Christianity as he states, “in the darkest hours of my career in slavery, this living word of faith and spirit of hope departed not from me, but remained like ministering angels to cheer me through the gloom. This good spirit was from God, and to him I offer thanksgiving and praise” (75).

Well, my advice for you today my friends is to not be ashamed to show off who you really are no matter where you go. Sometimes it can be intimidating to talk about Christ in a term paper that gives the opportunity to do so because of the ruff and tough outer-exterior of professors but...go for it. Pray before doing so, so that God can inspire the proper words. Do something different and most importantly don't be ashamed. The word of God says in (Mark 8:38) "If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." I don't blame Jesus for saying this at all. Can you imagine? The son of the most powerful and majestic king of all the nations leaves the comfort of his loving home in order to come to a land where by most he is despised. He no longer wears his crown for all to see and dresses in what some wealthy people might call rags under the identity as the son of a carpenter (so teased some people). The Innocent son of a king sacrifices his life and blameless reputation in order to brutally die for a nation that rejected and wrongly judged him. To this day this nation continues to do so and at one point we were all participants in this horrid act until the Lord, in his abundant grace, opened our eyes. We need not be ashamed of our king or the prince of peace that saved our souls because this is not fare to Him. So I say, we might be able to escape the embarrassment of testifying about Jesus in front of our "friends" or certain crowds but there will come a day when we will be in the presence of the Lord's crowds who will all be ashamed of those who laughed at Jesus, their prince and king. If anyone reads this and knows that they they boldly represent the kingdom of God then congrats! I hope to see the day when every knee bows down to our savior and together we offer Him our worship and undivided attention.

Faith Is Believing In What You Can't See

Here I am in the Arts and Humanities Building...my own private little corner. I love it here! I've got my yummy snack (Cheetos and a Rice Krispie Treat) and I'm good to go. I've got a couple of things to share but I'm going to start off with a testimony.

First of all let me just say that the God I serve is merciful and trustworthy. These are things that as Christians we might all know but it's different when your faith is actually tested and then rewarded. I had spent all day Friday typing away so that I could turn in a paper for peer review. This was for my 1301 English class. I was "suppose" to copy and past my work onto Google Docs. Of course though, me being a freshmen in college, I start panicking and crying when my work gets completely messed up! Half of my paper erased and the remaining text was full of strange symbols (One could say that Google wasn't my favorite site at that point). All I could do was PRAY that the Lord would help me...that He would spontaneously make a miracle happen. After literally hours of copying and pasting the 5 o'clock deadline rolled around and I completely drowned in a river of my own tears. By FAITH I turned off my laptop, closed my eyes, and prayed again, and again, and again. I told God, "I trust You Lord and I know that everything is going to be okay." I walked away, knowing that my God had never failed me before and that He would never do so. (Psalm 25:1-5)In you, LORD my God, I put my trust. I trust in you;do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. The thing about the devil is that He uses any means necessary to but us to shame or to try to ruin our reputation, but the word of God says that those you hope or trust in God will not be put to shame. God's got our backs and is doing His part, but the real question is--Are we doing ours? Are we putting our complete faith in God? The definition of faith is believing in something you can't see! We can't see God but by faith we know He's real. We can't see our ministry prosper but by faith we give it to God and know that it's coming in the name of Jesus! God has great plans for His children...for us, but we have to keep the faith.

Sunday morning...I logged onto my Google Docs account and tried to open up my paper again and...... It was perfect! There was nothing wrong with my paper. There were no strange symbols and the whole essay was in tact. Glory to God! The God that I serve will never let me be put to shame for my hope is in "Jehova Mi Dios!" Remember: the reason that the enemy wants to ruin our reps is because then he'll be making God and His children look bad. The way that we as Christians combat this is by keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord and His word. If we walk in truth than no lies that people concoct against us will prosper. The enemy will have no choice but to retreat. (Ephesians 6:12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Our real battle is not against the friends, family, or people that try to hurt us, but against the devil. The best part is that we've got God on our side and no form of evil will prosper over our lives, but we've got to do our part. We've got to exercise our faith.

*~*~*

In other news, My dad is off to Dallas TX for three whole days to take my grandpa to the hospital so it's just us girls: my Mom, younger sister, and me. This should be fun, and knowing us we're probably going to watch movies and pop some popcorn. I really hope it rains! I love rainy movie nights. They're my fav! And best of all I have no homework so I can dedicate some time to my Lord and read His word. On the next post I'll be sharing what I'm learning in Psalmist school...it's so interesting. and full of revelation. I'm in love with worshipping my Lord and Savior. I'll keep you guys posted about what's going on but for now I have to bid everyone good day....I'm off the English!
God Bless!

Busy Serenity—The Art Of Letting Go!

Thank God.
Well...this week has been draining yet at the same time amazing. I love the feeling of accomplishment at the end of a long day. School offered me a challenge this week but I managed to finish gracefully because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! I love love love college! I have such a passion for what God has presented me with. I had gone to public school my whole life but I honestly have to say that I love College way more. I like the long walks to class early in the morning and the sense of freedom in the air as I walk to the library or to my favorite place: the Arts and Humanities building. Every day during my lunch break I grab a little snack and then make my way toward a desk in the corner and start typing or studying away.

*~*~*

The biggest news for this week is that God totally opened my eyes into a different career...it's still in the Rehabilitation branch though. I originally wanted to be an architect in high school but then God led me into the path of Occupational Therapy. I prayed for so long until I finally just said, "You know what God? I trust you and I'm just gonna let you guide me and take me where you want to take me. Just point me to the door." He keeps opening those doors for me and on Friday, I just walked through another one. After my mid-morning American Heritage class I walked on over to this Major's Fair that the school was throwing in the university ballroom.

*~*~*

For a good while I'd been feeling this burning calling within me towards some form of counseling career, but I knew for sure I didn't want to be a Psychologist. I let God be God. He pointed me into the direction of the Rehab booth and I began to converse with this really nice man about what I was majoring in and the type of job I wanted. He began to say that their was a certain rehab field I could specialize in called Addiction Studies. It was perfect...this was the answer to months of prayer.

God willing, I hope to first get my bachelors in Rehab and then after those four years get my masters in Addiction Studies so that I can become an Addiction/Rehab Counselor for teens. I don't know what God has in store for me later on in the future but all I know is that my life is in good hands. I trust you Lord...with everything!

*~*~*

Psalmist school, or as we say here in the valley, Escuela de Salmistas, was great! I sang a different song this time and the prof. helped me get in touch with my soulful middle voice. My advice to anyone is: first pray...and then get out there! The world goes beyond our own homes or even the front gate, and if we don't take the time to discover it, we'll be missing out on the things God has in store for us. Next time a friend invites you to eat, just Go! Next time you're invited to someone else's youth group...Go! You never know what type of special blessings God has in store for you if you don't leave the comfort of your room. The Lord's message needs to be spread and it begins with us...(Romans 10:14) But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?  If there's one thing I've learned it's that BIG things happen when we get down on our knees and PRAY. Thank you Jesus. I will sing of your love forever. And that's exactly what I'm going to do in a little bit...worship.
